SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Lakeland High School senior is heading to college with a financial advantage most students can only imagine: more than $4 million in scholarship offers.
In a statement, Suffolk Public Schools announced Tuesday that Alexis Morrison earned the highest scholarship total in the district’s graduating Class of 2026.
“This incredible accomplishment is a testament to Alexis’ hard work, character, and dedication toexcellence,” said Dr. John B. Gordon III. “Earning more than $4 million in scholarships is trulyextraordinary and reflects the bright future ahead of her.
