Suffolk Police arrest man in connection with burglary on Godwin Boulevard

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was arrested in connection with a burglary during a traffic stop on Route 58 in Suffolk Friday afternoon, according to the Suffolk Police Department.

Joshua Hubbard, 44, of Suffolk, had warrants for revocation of a suspended license and failure to appear. He has also been charged with the following:

  • Two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny
  • Possession of burglarious tools
  • Grand larceny
  • Possession of stolen property with intent to sell
  • Wearing a mask to conceal identity
  • Eluding police
  • Computer fraud
  • Stealing a lottery ticket
  • Obtaining money by false pretenses

On May 28, a business in the 2700 block of Godwin Boulevard reported a burglary to Suffolk Police. It’s believed the burglary happened in the early morning hours.
