HAMPTON, Va. — Drivers traveling on Interstate 64 in Hampton will encounter a new traffic pattern this week as construction continues on the Hampton Roads Express Lanes project.
Beginning as early as Monday, traffic in both directions between the Hampton River Bridge and Mallory Street will be shifted from the inside lanes to the outside lanes. The Virginia Department of Transportation said the change will allow crews to perform median work and paving operations.
