Newport News Police search for woman charged in connection to November 2025 hit-and-run

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News Police are searching for a woman who was charged after a hit-and-run that happened in November 2025, according to the Newport News Police Department.

The woman, identified as Deanna Pulley, 27, has a capias from June 3. In connection to the crash, Pulley was charged with hit-and-run and obstruction of justice. Her last known address was in the 100 block of Cameron Street in Hampton.

At around 4:32 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2025, officers responded to a reported crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of 28th Street and Orcutt Avenue.
