CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — An inmate died Wednesday after experiencing an apparent medical emergency at the Chesapeake Correctional Center, according to Lauryn Ramsey, spokesperson for the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office.
Donelle Felder, 39, was taken to the hospital at approximately 11 a.m. after medics were called due to a medical concern. He died later at the hospital. The medical examiner and police department are investigating the cause of death.
