NORFOLK, Va. — Get ready for an unforgettable Independence Day in Norfolk with two dazzling fireworks displays lighting up the night sky! Hampton Roads residents and visitors alike are invited to join the celebration with events on Friday, July 3, at Ocean View Beach Park and Saturday, July 4, at Town Point Park.

The Shore Thing Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks on Friday, July 3, at Ocean View Beach Park begins at 6 pm, and features live music from Wonderland, family-friendly activities, and food trucks. The fireworks display in Ocean View is set for 9:30 pm.
Free Shuttle Service Available — Due to the anticipated high volume of attendees, we are pleased to offer a complimentary shuttle service for the Shore Thing Independence Day Celebration at Ocean View Beach Park. We encourage guests to take advantage of this pilot shuttle program for the evening. The free shuttle service on Friday, July 3, 2026, will be available from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

- Community Beach
The last shuttle to Ocean View Beach Park departs at 9:00 PM, Friday, July 3. The last return shuttle from the park departs at approximately 10:15 PM.
