PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were injured after a shooting on Williamsburg Avenue in Portsmouth Friday evening, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.
At around 11:54 p.m. on July 10, the department responded to a call for a shooting in the 500 block of Williamsburg Avenue. When officers arrived to the scene, they were told that a man and a woman had left the scene and sought treatment for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds at local hospitals.
