SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The annual For Kids Field Day in Suffolk is coming up on Sept. 17, where the community fundraiser event features a variety of fun outdoor activities.
The event will be held at Cedar Point Club—8056 Clubhouse Drive—and will start at 9 a.m. with a walk along the Nansemond River, then yoga at 10:30 a.m., and finally, golfers will tee off starting at 1 p.m.
Proceeds of the field day go to ForKids, an organization that works to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness for children and families across Hampton Roads and Western Tidewater…
