NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Volunteers in Food Lion’s hunger-relief program, Food Lion Feeds, gave a local food pantry called Changing Lives 365 in Norfolk, Va., a pantry makeover on Sept. 11.
The Great Panty Makeover project included refreshing the food pantry by installing new ceiling tiles, painting, building shelves, and stocking it with a donation of nutritious food.
“Food Lion completed a fabulous makeover of our pantry,” said Miss Rodney Clements, Pantry Manager, Changing Lives 365. “We are so grateful that Food Lion associates came to support us today. They installed new ceiling tiles and shelving, painted, and provided us with a nutritious food donation.”
