CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Three people were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Chesapeake on Monday, ICE confirmed to WAVY on Tuesday night.
ICE officials confirmed they arrested Gilberto Andreas Leon Cruz, Noel Yonahtan Pereira Pereira and Gilberto Martinez Perez during “targeted enforcement operations.”
The agency said Martinez Perez had previously been arrested on Nov. 17, 2024 for assault and battery of a family member. ERO Norfolk served Martinez Perez with a Notice to Appear and placed him in removal proceedings…
