VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)- Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, the U.S. Navy will showcase THE STRIKE GROUP mixed reality experience at the NAS Oceana Air Show. THE STRIKE GROUP is designed to demonstrate the breadth and depth of Navy STEM careers in the most realistic ways possible.
Through leading-edge mixed reality, THE STRIKE GROUP provides participants with a fully immersive, hands-on look into the technology and teamwork that are central to every role in the Navy.
“The Navy operates some of the most advanced technology in the world, but it is our Sailors who turn that technology into warfighting capability,” says Rear Adm. Forrest Young, Commander, Navy Recruiting Command. “THE STRIKE GROUP gives students a hands-on look at the teamwork, technical skills and problem-solving required to operate our Navy.
