NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Annual Virginia Children’s festival, one of the most beloved festivals by Hampton Roads families, returns to Norfolk early next month.
The festival, presented by Sentara Health Plans, will feature a variety of famous characters, activities, food trucks, vendors and interactive experiences for children ages 10 and younger.
Returning this year is the Mini Maker’s Market where you can purchase handmade goods and support young artist ages 12 and younger.
New to the festival this year is the Commodore Commotion Locomotion Train Dance Party, which is hosted by Maury High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students. Guests are invited to design their own wearable box car at the train crafting tent before joining the fun. Participants will have two opportunities to join the Train Dance Party.
