NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A crane tipped over on a job site in Norfolk Monday, Sept. 29, causing one person to be injured, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue Medic 6 responded to the accident off East Charlotte and Ruffner Street around 2:45 p.m. and found one person outside of the crane with a minor injury. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital, and no other injuries were reported.
The job site where the incident occurred is for the construction of the Freemason St. Bridge, as part of the St. Paul’s Redevelopment Phase 2 project, according to the City of Norfolk…
