NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that an ICE arrest was made in Norfolk on Sept. 29.
Walter Carabantes Orellana, an illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested during a targeted enforcement operation. He entered the country on an unknown date and location.
In the press release, the DHS stated: “Being in detention is a choice. We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure using the CBP Home app. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and preserve the opportunity to return to the United States the right, legal way to live the American dream. If not, they will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.”…
