Hundreds walk to raise funds for ALS research during the Walk to Defeat ALS Tidewater event in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Hundreds of participants walked to raise funds for ALS research as part of the Walk to Defeat ALS Tidewater event in Virginia Beach Saturday morning.

Overseen by the ALS Association, and sponsored by WAVY-TV 10, the Walk to Defeat ALS Tidewater event raises funds that support ALS research, care services and advocacy efforts.
