Walashek Industrial & Marine, Inc. is expanding its headquarters in Norfolk, an initiative that will add 40 new jobs to the area.
Gov. Abigail Spanberger announced the estimated $5 million investment on Oct. 9, 2026.
The project will bring Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) hovercraft maintenance and modernization services to Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story in Norfolk, expanding an established program previously based in San Diego, Calif.
