NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Newport News police are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday night. Police say the crash happened around 5:26 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue in front of the Regency Square Apartments. The motorcyclist, 32-year-old Cody Bamburg of Newport News, died less than an hour later at the hospital.
