PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Around 15 minutes after police responded to one shooting in Portsmouth, near Augustine Circle, they were called for a second shooting on Frederick Boulevard.
On Feb. 9, around 2:30 p.m., dispatch received a call for a gunshot wound to the 1000 block of Frederick Boulevard, police said. The area around Valvoline is surrounded with police tape with at least 13 evidence markers.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The adult was transported by medics to a local hospital with a non life-threatening injury.
