Traffic shift for Route 460 Pruden Blvd. Project announced

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Suffolk Public Works Department has announced an upcoming traffic shift for the Route 460 Pruden Boulevard Project.

The inside lanes in both directions will be closed, directing traffic to the single outside East and Westbound lanes. This adjustment is to allow for the construction of a raised median.

Officials say the shift could begin as early as Feb. 26. However, this date could change due to weather conditions.

Motorists are urged to observe the enforced 35 mph speed limit while construction is underway. Traffic enforcement cameras are operational in the work zone.
