SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The annual Stars & Stripes Spectacular concert and fireworks show is scheduled for July 4 in Suffolk at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina, 100 E. Constance Rd.
The festivities is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., The Feenies are set to take the stage from 6-9 p.m., and the fireworks will light up the sky over the Nansemond River at 9 p.m.
Admission is free for all ages. Several food trucks and merchandise vendors will be on site and available for purchase, including beer for those 21+.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for seating. Kids can enjoy bounce houses, crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos, etc.
There is no on-site parking for this event. Shuttle stops will be available at First Baptist Church, 237 N. Main St., and the Godwin Courthouse Building, 150 N. Main St. Shuttles will run from 5:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and again once the fireworks are completed.
