Chesapeake police asking for help locating a missing man with dementia

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with finding a elderly man with dementia.

Don Hodges, 75, was last seen at his home in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake around 1:44 p.m. Wednesday.  Police say his vehicle was seen driving on Croatan highway near 8th Street in Nags Head, North Carolina around 4:20 p.m. He drives a 2019 Honda SRV with Virginia tags ULN-8918.

Hodges is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weights about 168 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage bucket hat, Columbia blue t-shirt, black cargo pants and gray sneakers.
