Wawa is set to continue its 60th-anniversary celebration with the grand opening of its new store in Suffolk on Friday, Dec.6. Located at 1510 Holland Road, the new store will open doors at 8 a.m., welcoming the community with free coffee and commemorative t-shirts for the first 100 customers. The countdown to the opening will begin at 7:45 a.m.
The grand opening will feature a range of activities, including a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie building competition between the Suffolk Police Department and Suffolk Fire & Rescue. Among the attendees expected are; Kim Dowgielewicz, Wawa Director of Store Operations
Alex Mwale, Wawa Area Manager, and Stephanie Vercher, Wawa General Manager. Wawa mascot Wally Goose will also be in attendance.
