Currituck Alert is the county government’s mass notification and alerting system. Users receive emergency messages during situations that might impact the community, such as water and gas leaks, hurricane updates and evacuations, flooding, road closures and law enforcement activity.
Citizens can choose to receive alerts via email, text message and recorded voice message when registering online at currituckcountync.gov/communications/currituck-alert/ . To receive text messages only, users may simply text CTUCKALERT to 888-777.
