NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — On Tuesday, Newport News police responded to an attempted robbery that escalated to a shooting at a business in the 3700 block of Marshall Avenue.
When they arrived, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.
Shortly after, in a vehicle near Harpersville Road and Lennon Drive, officers located a second victim, a juvenile male, from the incident. He too was transported to a hospital, but his injuries are not considered to be life-threating…
