NORFOLK, Va. — With recent federal layoffs now impacting area workers, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council is ready to assist and help with their new employment chapter.
Those with the Hampton Roads Workforce Council say around 100 laid-off federal workers – primarily from the Department of Defense – have already reached out for resources in the past few weeks.
