Maryland man sentenced for selling fentanyl disguised as Oxycodone in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Maryland man was sentenced for selling fentanyl disguised as Oxycodone to a confidential source in Virginia Beach, a release states.

34-year-old Joshua Void sold 1,000 fentanyl pills to a source in Virginia Beach on March 1, 2024. The controlled purchase was conducted by law enforcement. The pills were blue and imprinted with “M30” to make them appear to be legitimate Oxycodone pills. In a second controlled purchase on April 24, 2024, Void sold 2,000 fentanyl pills to the CS.

On May 21, 2024, Void traveled from Temple Hills to Virginia Beach to sell the CS additional fentanyl pills. Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on Void’s vehicle in Suffolk. Investigators recovered approximately 4,000 fentanyl pills as well as MDMA…
