ICE arrests Salvadoran national convicted of assault in Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, VA – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Roxana Beatriz Ayala-Duran, a 41-year-old Salvadoran national, who was previously convicted of assault in Virginia and had been ordered removed from the United States, officials announced.

Ayala-Duran was taken into custody in Alexandria on Feb. 25 during a joint operation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). ICE officials emphasized that her arrest aligns with efforts to remove individuals who pose a threat to public safety.
