PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Norfolk State women’s track & field team delivered remarkable performances this past weekend at the Penn Relays, highlighted by a school record in the 4×400 meter relay.
The Spartans made history in the 4×400 meter relay heats, as Leanna Lewis, Kalyncia Taylor, Kadynce Taylor, and Autumn Burrell shattered the school record, posting a time of 3:40.44 and taking first place. The previous school record had stood since 1994.
