Raccoon tests positive for rabies in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A raccoon tested positive for rabies in Suffolk on Thursday, according to the Suffolk Health Department.

The raccoon was found in the Cedar Point area, injured and displaying neurological systems. Therefore, it was captured by Animal Control.
