CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Crews with the Chesapeake Fire Department rescued a collapsed horse on Tuesday.
According to officials, the horse was found to be extremely malnourished to the point where it could not stand up. Eventually, crews were able to help the horse regain its footing.
A veterinarian was also called to the scene to assess the horse’s condition. No additional information on the horse has been released at this time.
