HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – In a televised school board meeting June 4, Hampton City Schools (HCS) received the first ever Showcasing Innovation Award from the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) for their Instructional Toolkit.
“The program exemplifies the essence of this award – innovation, impact, and meaningful collaboration. Among a competitive field of outstanding submissions from across the Commonwealth, the initiative stood out as a shining example of excellence,” said Dr. Cardell Patillo, Jr., past president of VSBA.
