Visitor and inmate charged with drug trafficking at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — An inmate and a visitor are facing several drug-related charges after trying to smuggle drugs into the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail in May, according to Jail Superintendent Colonel Ray Witham.

Investigators caught inmate Austin Randall and visitor Amy Carmine conspiring to deliver drugs on May 16.
