Veterans for Spanberger held in Norfolk as part of “Span Virginia Bus Tour”

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger made over 40 stops across Virginia this week. On Sunday, she traveled through Hampton Roads, making stops on the south side and the Peninsula. All of this is part of her “Span Virginia Bus Tour.”

Sunday was day 8 of 8 on the tour, making Hampton Roads the last stop. During the “Veterans for Spanberger” event in Norfolk, the former congresswoman spoke to Virginia veterans, outlining what she would do for them if elected governor.

“As governor, I will work to lower housing costs, making our Commonwealth an affordable place to live. I will put our veterans first by cracking down on the predatory actors and claim sharks that are taking advantage of our Commonwealth’s veterans.
