West Ghent residents wake up to damaged vehicles

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Police have responded to neighbors in the West Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk to calls of vehicles that were damaged on Mallory Court overnight.

“I came downstairs, grabbed a cup of coffee, and when I looked out the front window, I saw that my car window was down, and I hadn’t left it down overnight,” said Emma Yokois, who has lived on Mallory Court for 10 years.

The front right window of her car that was parked in front of her house was smashed, a credit card was stolen out of the car and her wallet tossed into a tree…
