HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on the 1st block of Preakness Lane Tuesday afternoon.
Officers say the call came in around 1:20 p.m. Upon arrival, HPD located a man suffering from non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital after receiving aid at the scene.
Hampton Police were then notified of a walk-in patient at a Newport News hospital with a gunshot wound around 2:42 p.m. The victim, who had a non life-threatening injury, said the incident took place on Preakness Lane…
