VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana is partnering with the city of Virginia Beach to conduct routine training Tuesday, July 15.
The training exercises, which will include emergency services personnel and vehicles responding to pre-staged events, is in efforts to practice responses to aircraft incidents that may occur onboard the installation.
An influx of emergency vehicles may be present around the installation and smoke may be visible from the surrounding area, according to NAS Oceana. The training is not open to the public…
