VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — As 10 On Your Side continues its investigation into troubling conditions at Wadsworth Shores military housing in Virginia Beach, new claims suggest the issues extend well beyond a single neighborhood.

Liberty Military Housing, which manages Wadsworth Shores, also oversees 20 military housing communities across Hampton Roads. Now, a former resident from one of those properties in Chesapeake is stepping forward with a similar story.
Zachary Montanaro said his family experienced serious problems while living on Pecan Crescent in Chesapeake — from cockroaches on move-in day to air conditioning failures and, eventually, a ceiling collapse.
“I’m not asking for anything crazy or above and beyond what any other American is looking for,” Montanaro told 10 On Your Side. “I think we can do that — at least for our service members.”…
