NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A man was declared dead Monday afternoon after Newport News Police responded to a shooting at the zero block of Traverse Lane.
Officers say the incident happened around 3 p.m. and located a man with life-threatening injuries from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
