TOTE Services Secures $311M Navy Contract for MDA Ship Support

The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Virginia, has tapped TOTE Services to support the operations and maintenance of a Navy vessel equipped with a Sea-Based X-Band Radar, or SBX-1, under a firm-fixed-price contract with a potential value of $311.4 million.

The Missile Defense Agency operates the vessel as a contingency element of the ground-based mid-course defense platform of the U.S. Strategic Command’s ballistic missile defense system, the Department of Defense said Friday.
