Mack’s Barge along North Colley may be replaced with seafood restaurant

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Mack’s Barge, a restaurant along North Colley Ave. in Norfolk, closed in the summer of 2025 and could be replaced with a seafood restaurant.

Andrey Tsokanoff spoke at Monday night’s Colonial Place Riverview Civic League meeting to discuss his plans to purchase and rebrand the restaurant. Tsokanoff is the owner of Fish Bones restaurant at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, so he knows seafood.

“About a year ago, when I began searching for another restaurant opportunity, one outside of the Oceanfront corridor, my goal was to build a business that could operate more consistently year-round, rather than being tied so heavily to seasonal traffic. That search led me to Mack’s Barge,” Tsokanoff said…
