NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A man was reported dead Saturday following a shooting in the zero block of Poplar Ave, according to the Newport News Police Department.
Officers responded to the incident around 7:09 a.m. and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Investigation revealed the incident appears to be domestic and officers are not looking for any suspects.
