NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — The Hampton & Peninsula Health District (HPHD) announced they will be hosting several Back-to-School walk-in vaccination clinics during the month of August.
According to a release, HPHD will be providing school-required immunizations at no cost in Newport News and Hampton.
“Vaccinations are crucial to protect students, school staff, and the broader community,” HPHD’s Health Director Dr. Natasha Dwamena said. “When you child is up-to-date on their vaccinations, schools can minimize the spread of infectious diseases, safeguard vulnerable individuals, and maintain a healthy learning environment.”…
