ODU creates first teacher certification program in Virginia for computer science dual enrollment courses

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — As technology continues to dominate our way of life, there’s a rapid growth of student interest in the field of computer science amid a current challenge in Virginia to meet the need for an increased number of high school educators equipped to teach dual enrollment computer science courses.

Thanks for Old Dominion University, a new certificate program will launch this fall to help bridge the gap.
