VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and stress-related illnesses continue to rise across part of Hampton Roads, especially in under-resourced neighborhoods.
That’s where the T2 Fitness Foundation is focusing its efforts. Through its Fresh Start Initiative, the nonprofit is working to close long-standing health disparities in cities such as Norfolk, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight, and now Portsmouth.
The free 12-week program is a comprehensive, community-based wellness approach designed to help individuals at high risk make sustainable health changes.
