VSP urge seat belt use following Labor Day fatalities

Virginia State Police (VSP) are reminding drivers and passengers that a new state law requires everyone in a vehicle to wear a seat belt, following a deadly Labor Day holiday weekend.

Preliminary data shows six people died in six crashes on Virginia roadways during the holiday, with at least three victims confirmed not wearing seat belts.
