CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The military has added a Chesapeake-based auto dealer to the list of businesses Hampton Roads service members are prohibited from patronizing.
Image Auto Group LLC, at 1207 S. Military Highway in Chesapeake, is the newest business on the list. There are now approximately 14 businesses on the list, including several auto dealers and vape shops.
“The move to place them on the off-limits list is due to unethical business practices,” states a press release from the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs Office. “Image Auto Group LLC’s unethical business practices unfairly target junior service members and take advantage of their limited financial understanding or ability to walk away from a negotiation.”…
