Portsmouth police seek three suspects in video machine burglary

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Three individuals are wanted in connection with a burglary in which video machines were stolen from, the Portsmouth Police Department announced Wednesday. The theft happened on July 28 around 1:30 p.m.

Portsmouth police responded to the 3300 block of South Street for a call of a burglary. Upon arrival, they spoke to the owner, who reported that four individuals had tampered with and stolen from the video machines. They cashed in thousands of dollars’ worth of vouchers.

A suspect, identified as 36-year-old Darrius Bailey, has been apprehended and charged with grand larceny, obtaining money under false pretenses and destruction of property…
