YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office deputy used the Heimlich maneuver to save a choking woman’s life on Sept. 4, according to a post by the office on Facebook.
The incident during the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit’s Identity Theft and Scams presentation at Marantha Baptist Church. Deputy First Class Trey Ulintz, Deputy First Class Kevin Taylor and Sheriff’s Office recruit Demi Christy attended the program, which began at 11:30 a.m.
