Virginia Beach residents want answers after their neighborhoods flood following Tuesday’s storm

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Tuesday’s coastal storm is heading north now, but parts of Hampton Roads are still dealing with power outages and flooding.

The coastal low left its mark on Virginia Beach, slamming neighborhoods with up to 7 inches of water.

It was a burdensome morning for some Virginia Beach residents as portions of South Independence Boulevard between Salem and Princess Anne Roads were still impacted by high floodwaters.
