Virginia Beach man flees police in stolen Honda, arrested after multi-jurisdictional chase

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia State Police have arrested a man following a high-speed, multi-jurisdictional pursuit across the Hampton Roads region Monday morning.

At approximately 3:26 a.m., Virginia Beach Police officers attempted a traffic stop on a 2016 blue Honda Civic reported stolen. During the encounter, the suspect struck an officer with the vehicle, causing non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities immediately issued a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) for the stolen car.

Norfolk Police soon located the Honda near I-64 at Northampton Boulevard. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the suspect refused to comply, prompting a pursuit.
